Partnership Mediation Service

The very term 'partnership' implies something more personal, more involved than 'limited company'. Indeed, in our experience, partnerships often have dimensions to them that you might find in family or marital relationships.

So when partners fall out or have relationship difficulties, the impact can be distracting at best or destructive at worst.

At the end of a coaching skills training session with partners in a legal firm recently, one of them commented: 'You need to understand what a challenge this is for us. As solicitors were taught to take the emotion out of everything. You're asking us to put it back in.'

Our Partnership Mediation Service recognises the emotional undercurrents that often exist in partnerships and works with individuals or teams to channel those energies productively.

Partners don't have to like each other for a partnership to flourish. But they do need to respect and trust each other. Without those two key elements, opportunities for growth can be lost.

If there are emotional undercurrents in your professional partnership that are impeding progress, our Partnership Mediation Service, which is led by Richard Bentley offers:

bullet

an catalyst for resolving conflicts

bullet

a safe environment for partners to discuss openly how best to create productive working relationships

bullet

an opportunity to discover a common partnership purpose.

Some ways we can help your partnership

bullet

Mediation sessions with partners seeking to work more effectively with each other

bullet

Coaching sessions with individuals to explore and resolve working relationship issues

bullet

Training sessions in key relationship building and communication skills

bullet

Vision sessions with groups of partners to identify a shared purpose.
